Want to write for girlblog?

I’m looking for contributors to write guest blogs providing film criticism on new and old releases. girlblog! focuses on social commentary from a leftist perspective within indie and blockbuster cinema. Preferably, pitches would include film from the following genres:

• horror

• thriller

• drama

but anything that’s currently capturing attention within internet culture works, as long as there’s a unique angle to the pitch.

Feel free to send pitches of standard film reviews, or longer features discussing multiple films exploring a specific topic relevant to current discourse. Please try to keep pitches within 300 words. Film review blogs should be kept within 1000 words, and features within 1500.
